Usually around the end of September we'll have more mild temps (high of 82°, low of 54°) with a minimal chance of rain. Plan for a hot day, but bring a light jacket or shawl for cooler evening temps.
Our wedding is 100% outdoors on a beautiful lawn and orchard owned by Hayley's grandmother in Castle Valley, UT. The home on the property is still in the construction phase, so it's generally off-limits for the party (unless it rains and we need extra shelter). We'll provide a double restroom trailer with hand-washing sinks. There's no cell service in the valley, so prepare to go off-grid! Guests can connect to the shop wifi if you need to make a phone call.
We're having a playful "iridescent" wedding, so colorful outfits are encouraged! Break out that over-the-top sequin or floral outfit you've been wanting to wear. It's a day to celebrate and have fun, so we'll be adorning the tables with wildflowers and vibrant pastel colors. If you want to dress to the nines, go for it, but most importantly, wear something comfortable so we can dance into the night! Plan for a hot day, but bring a light jacket or shawl for cooler evening temps. Pointed high-heel shoes may sink into the grass, so swap them out for wedges, flats, sandals, or just your bare feet. Bring your sunglasses or a hat for the ceremony, as we'll be on the sunny side of the yard at 5:00.
From downtown Moab, you'll drive north on main street (US-191), then head East along the river on UT-128, until you turn into Castle Valley and make your way to the address 390 Castle Creek Ln. It's approximately a 30 minute drive on a narrow winding road along the river, so give yourself some extra time to arrive before the ceremony starts at 5:15.
We'll have signs directing you off the paved road. You'll drive down a dirt road until you see another wedding sign at the entrance to the property.
Parking is limited, so please carpool 3 - 6 people to a car!
